LG Electronics, a global leader in technology and HVAC systems, was established over 50 years ago in Seoul, South Korea. Throughout the years, LG Electronics has always strived to improve people’s everyday life through their products as expressed by the company’s tagline, “Life’s Good”.
Making sure they stay ahead of the competition, LG’s Air Conditioners include features like inverter technology and plasma air filtration. The LG brand has also dominated the market since 2000 not just by offering smart technologies, but stylish designs as well. A good example is LG’s Art Cool line of ductless air conditioners as they continue to pave the way for a new standard of cool. LG also provides a wide range of tailored commercial air conditioning and heating solutions to get the job done right.
At the heart of each mini split condenser, is the compressor. Tucked quietly away, the compressor unit is the epitome of perfect engineering. Like the engine in your car, LG manufacturers their products to exacting tolerances using cutting-edge technology.
LG pledges to continue scanning for future innovations in the endeavor to perfect the ductless air conditioner. From advances in science to air conditioning breakthroughs, you can count on LG to always lead the market as the residential and commercial player in the home comfort heating and cooling industry.
The LG HVAC Advantage
LG HVAC systems offer a range of solutions that are cost efficient, quiet, and attractive. They provide a smart, yet affordable alternative to window-mounted air conditioners and are available in a variety of configurations to suit every heating and cooling installation.
How Ductless Systems Work
LG’s innovative ductless systems are “split” into indoor and outdoor units. The interior units are available in several different configurations: Art Cool, standard wall-mounted, and ceiling cassettes. Whole house or room-by-room air conditioning and heating options are available. All interior units have remote controls for easy use.
The LG ductless mini splits are very easy to install with little ductwork required, so you don’t have to worry about costly remodeling expenses that interrupt your life. The outdoor units have a compact physical footprint that takes up very little outdoor space as possible.
One of the greatest features of the LG ductless air conditioning system is its ease of installation. A qualified contractor can usually install it in about a day. There is little to no ductwork required, so you don’t have to worry about being stuck in a disorderly home. The sleek, ductless air indoor unit mounts discreetly within the space, and a pair of small refrigerant lines plus power and control wiring both connect it to the outdoor unit through a small three-inch opening in the wall.
Art Cool Gallery
Available in 9,000 and 12,000 Btu/h capacities, Art Cool Gallery ductless systems include one quiet, low-voltage heat pump outdoor unit and one indoor unit designed to display artwork or photography.
The frame on the LG ductless air conditioner Art Cool Gallery indoor units showcases a piece of art, a family portrait, or any other favorite graphic. Art Cool Gallery indoor units, combined with small-footprint outdoor units, provide both physical comfort and a stylish aesthetic.
Art Cool Mirror
Art Cool Mirror ductless air conditioner mini-split systems feature sleek, mirror-finished indoor units, and outdoor units with energy-efficient Inverter technology. Choose from models with capacities from 9,000 to 24,000 Btu/h.
Single-zone systems feature an innovative design and high-efficiency levels. The mirrored wall-mounted indoor units allow for easy installation, while the majority of LG ductless air conditioner systems in this line achieve Energy Star and tax credit qualifications.
LG air conditioners’ high-efficiency single zone line of heat pump mini-split systems are available in 9,000, 12,000, 18,000, and 24,000 Btu/h capacities.
All systems in the ductless high-efficiency line achieve Energy Star qualifications. The single-zone air conditioner systems feature energy-saving inverter (variable-speed compressor) technology that is controlled through a standard wireless remote or an optionally wired wall controller.
Quad-Zone Ceiling Cassettes
Four-way recessed ceiling cassette indoor units are offered in 1-ton and 3-ton capacities that are specifically for use with single-zone outdoor units. The larger, 2-ton and 3.5-ton units are for use with multi-zone outdoor units.
Ceiling cassettes provide comfort in large, open spaces. They feature four-way directional vanes and multiple fan speeds to provide the perfect amount of air distribution wherever it is needed most. These units also come with a wireless remote controller for added convenience.
Concealed Ducted Units
LG’s concealed ducted units come in 9,000, 12,000, and 18,000 Btu/h capacities. These include wired wall controllers for easy control. When a ducted model is selected as the indoor unit, it can be installed either in the ceiling, beneath the floor, in a crawl space, or a basement.
Ductless Outdoor Condensers
These outdoor units can support 2-4 zones for maximum flexibility and comfort. Choose from 18,000, 24,000, 34,000, and 36,000 Btu/h capacities.
With a space-saving footprint in a heat pump configuration, these outdoor units include advanced inverter (variable-drive compressor) technology and enable easy installation with little to no ductwork required.
